The minister of trade and industry Francois Kanimba has appreciated the tidy environment at the Kitabi tea factory during his visit on 04/02/2012 in Nyamagabe district where he also urged all other factories which have not yet attained such a position to follow suit.

“After moving all around the factory, I have observed an impressive atmosphere with the cleanliness in the factory which is totally different from other factories I has been visiting and I can assure you, the product value from this factory which is admired even at the international market has become exemplary due to your commitment in maintaining cleanness.” He testified.
The director of Kitabi Tea Company Mutabazi Jean said cleanliness is achieved as a result of good training given to workers who are aware that such environment is also healthy at working places.
